Anyone travelling to Birmingham, who enjoys good service, nice amtmoshere and surroundings and great food, must try Ashas. This was our 1st visit, we went with friends, the 4 of us loved it. Very nice atmosphere, great friendly service, lovely food, yes a little more pricey, but worth it, our bill was £135, for 4 of us,we all had starter , main and side dishes, 2 bottles of wine, and 4 cobras......Our waiter was lovely, he suggested dishes, made us feel very welcome, was friendly and pleasant.... all in all great . Will be going next time we are in Birmingham, 10 out of 10.
I have been to Asha's numerous times since time began, and the food, service and atmosphere of the restaurant have always been exceptional. Birmingham is blessed with top indian restaurants centrally. Pushkar, Lasan and Ithiaas the others. On this occasion the food was lovely again, full of delicate spice and just the right size portion. The poppudums and sauces are lovely to begin and the choice on the menu is excellent for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. It is hard to decide which of Lasan, Pushkar or Ashas is the best in Brum, my choice changes often, but on this night...until the next of the trio is dined at..Ashas is the one...
This place serves great food in a fabulous atmosphere consistently. we eat here often and the consistent good service and food quality is not to be understated. not the cheapest curry - but this is done well and in style. Staff really try there best to please and serve well and nearly always succeed. Criticsm is acted upon from my experience. lunchtime curry in a hurry is a great experience too. I love this place.
